Charles Jennings is principal director. He set up Avista Consulting in order to provide clients with a more focused and hands-on marketing research consultancy. He is an experienced marketing research consultant with over 20 years research experiences in UK and international markets providing research services to major clients and research agencies.

  • He specialises in qualitative research and projects which include both business-to-business (B2B) and consumer research as well as government assignments.
  • Charles works both independently and with agency/client teams in providing support as project management and research.
  • He is able to manage market research projects from the brief to presentation including workshops and public consultations.
  • Alternatively he works with clients on modular aspects of projects and in reporting.

He provides cost effective market research services to enable clients and agencies to maximise their research budgets. Before setting up in freelance consultancy he spent 15 years in agency research with both specialist and major UK market research agencies developing extensive contacts and experiences from project work.

Charles is a Full Member of the UK Market Research Society (MRS) and practices their Codes of Conduct and Quality Controls which meet ESOMAR Standards. He has presented papers and workshops at market research conferences and at government and trade seminars. He is a member of the Independent Consultants Group (ICG) and the Business Intelligence Group (BIG) where he helps to organise their Forum Series.

Avista was established in 2000 in the UK and operates under the Market Research Society's (MRS) Codes of Conduct and Quality Controls and is a Member of the MRS Company Partner Service. Avista is Certified under the UK Data Protection Act.
